On October 3, 2026, we brought the CJ E-commerce Conference to Belgrade, Serbia, and the day delivered exactly what CJEC is meant to create: real conversations, practical insights, and meaningful business connections.
Hosted in Belgrade at Crowne Plaza, CJEC Belgrade brought together sellers, founders, marketers, partners, and e-commerce professionals for a full day focused on growth, strategy, visibility, sourcing, and networking. More importantly, it gave people the chance to step away from their screens and talk face to face about what is really happening in e-commerce right now.
Belgrade was not just another stop on our CJEC journey. It was a reminder that while e-commerce may happen online, growth still depends on human connection.

A Full-Day Agenda Designed for Real Interaction
From the beginning, we wanted CJEC Belgrade to feel interactive and practical.
The day started with registration from 9:30 to 10:00, followed by a dedicated topic networking session from 10:00 to 11:00. Instead of opening immediately with stage presentations, we created a space where attendees could join focused table conversations based on their business stage and interests.
The networking tables were designed around three themes:
-
Table 1: New Sellers — for attendees who were just starting and wanted to ask questions freely
-
Table 2: Advanced & Scaling — for sellers ready to move beyond the basics and focus on growth strategy
-
Table 3: Ads & Traffic — for discussions around customer acquisition, buyers, and ROAS
This format worked extremely well because it let people enter the conference by talking, not just listening.
Some attendees came with questions about launching a first store. Others wanted to improve traffic performance. Some were already selling and wanted to know how to scale more effectively. By dividing the room in this way, the first hour immediately felt useful and relevant.
It also created the right energy for the rest of the day.
Opening the Day: A Warm Welcome and a Clear Direction

At 11:00, the conference officially began with Opening Introduction, delivered by Nina, Business Developer at CJ Europe.
Nina helped set the tone for the day by welcoming the audience and introducing the purpose behind CJEC Belgrade. The message was clear: this event was built to connect people, share useful ideas, and create opportunities for the next stage of growth.
At 11:05, Andy, Founder & CEO of CJdropshipping, took the stage for the official Opening Speech.
Andy’s presence brought a strong sense of direction to the event. As the founder of CJdropshipping, he spoke from experience about what it takes to build and scale in global e-commerce. His opening set the tone for the entire conference by reinforcing a core truth of the industry:
Growth does not come only from finding the right product. It also comes from having the right systems, the right partners, and the right mindset.
Fireside Chat: Start From Scratch, Scale Fast

One of the key moments of the day came at 11:10, when we moved into the Fireside Chat session: “Start From Scratch, Scale Fast.”
This session featured Glenn and Lars, founders of ECOMLAB, together with Nina from CJ Europe.
This was a valuable session because it spoke directly to one of the biggest questions many e-commerce operators face:
How do you move from zero to real scale?
There is a lot of content online about launching a business, and there is also a lot of content about established success. But what many sellers really want to understand is the path in between.
How do you grow once a store starts showing promise?
What changes when a business begins to scale?
How should operators think about marketing, systems, decision-making, and momentum?
The fireside chat brought those questions into the room in a practical and relatable way.
The topic itself — Start From Scratch, Scale Fast — matched the mindset of many attendees. Some were just beginning their journey. Others were already operating but looking for the next breakthrough. This session helped bridge those different stages by offering a shared framework for thinking about growth.
Networking Before Lunch: Conversations That Matter

After the fireside chat, the agenda returned to one of the most important parts of CJEC: networking.
From 11:40 to 12:40, attendees had another full hour to connect, discuss, exchange ideas, and continue the conversations that had already started earlier in the day.
This was followed by lunch from 12:40 to 13:30.
At every CJEC event, networking is never treated as an afterthought. We do not see it as filler between speaker sessions. It is a core part of the value.
Why?
Because the right conversation can solve a real business problem.
A seller might meet another operator who has already solved the issue they are currently facing. A brand might meet a partner who understands their next market. A service provider might meet a merchant who needs exactly what they offer. A founder might hear a perspective that changes how they think about their business.
That is why these networking sessions matter so much.
Keynote 1: Organic Omnichannel Breakdown

At 13:30, we returned to the main stage for Keynote 1:
“Organic Omnichannel Breakdown: How to Be Visible Everywhere”
This session was presented by Martinijan Trajkovski, Co-Owner & Head of Strategy.
This keynote touched on a topic that is becoming increasingly important in modern e-commerce: visibility across multiple channels.
Today’s customer journey is no longer simple.
A buyer may discover a product on social media, search for it later, visit a store through another platform, see a second piece of content, and only then make a purchase. That means brands and sellers need to think beyond one channel, one platform, or one tactic.
Martinijan’s session focused on how businesses can build stronger organic visibility and create a more connected omnichannel presence.
This was especially valuable because many sellers still struggle with fragmentation. They may be active on one platform but invisible on others. They may have a product, but not a content system. They may have traffic, but not long-term discoverability.
The idea of being “visible everywhere” resonated strongly because it reflects the reality of how consumers discover brands today.
More Networking, More Useful Conversations

After Martinijan’s keynote, the agenda moved back into networking from 13:50 to 15:00.
Again, this structure reflects how we design CJEC events.
We do not want attendees to sit through hours of back-to-back presentations with no time to think or interact. Instead, we want each stage session to lead into discussion.
That way, people can immediately respond to what they have heard:
-
Ask follow-up questions
-
Share opinions
-
Exchange examples
-
Compare business experiences
-
Build new connections
This rhythm creates a stronger event experience and helps ideas turn into conversations.
Keynote 2: What’s New in CJ

At 15:00, Nina returned to the stage for Keynote 2:
“What’s New in CJ”
As Business Developer at CJ Europe, Nina shared updates related to the CJ ecosystem and broader opportunities connected to our services, capabilities, and development.
This session gave attendees a clearer view of how CJ continues to evolve and how sellers can work more effectively with CJ as their businesses grow.
At events like CJEC, these updates matter because sellers are not only looking for ideas. They are also looking for solutions.
They want to know:
-
What is improving?
-
What is available now?
-
What can help them operate more efficiently?
-
How can they create a better experience for their customers?
Nina’s session helped answer those questions by bringing the conversation back to tools, services, and practical growth support.
Another Networking Block: Building Relationships Throughout the Day
After Keynote 2, the agenda returned once more to networking from 15:20 to 16:30.
By this point in the day, the room had already developed a strong, open atmosphere. People were more familiar with one another. Conversations became deeper. New introductions happened more easily.
This is one of the things we value most about CJEC.
A conference does not create its full value in the first handshake. It creates value as discussions continue.
Someone you meet in the morning may become a more important conversation in the afternoon.
A first introduction may turn into a useful exchange after another session gives you a shared topic to discuss.
That was exactly the kind of momentum we saw in Belgrade.
Keynote 3: Scale Fast, Stay Aligned

At 16:30, Andy returned to the stage for Keynote 3:
“Scale Fast, Stay Aligned”
This session brought the day back to one of the most important ideas in e-commerce growth.
Scaling fast sounds exciting. And it is.
But growth can create pressure as quickly as it creates opportunity.
More sales mean more operational demands. More traffic means more complexity. More products mean more supply-chain decisions. More team members mean more internal alignment challenges.
That is why the phrase “Scale Fast, Stay Aligned” matters.
Scaling is not just about speed. It is about keeping the business stable, connected, and strategic while it grows.
Andy’s session reflected the larger theme of CJEC Belgrade: sustainable growth is built on more than ambition. It also requires clarity, systems, communication, and the right support structure.
For many attendees, this was a highly relevant closing keynote because it tied together so many of the day’s themes:
-
Growth
-
Visibility
-
Marketing
-
Systems
-
Partnerships
-
Execution
Ending the Day With Slido Q&A
The final session of the day was Slido Q&A from 16:40 to 17:00.
This was a strong way to close the conference because it gave the audience a final chance to engage directly, ask questions, and bring their own concerns into the discussion.
Q&A matters because no conference can answer everything in a one-way format.
Sometimes the most useful question is the one that comes from the room.
Sometimes the best takeaway is not from a prepared slide, but from a real answer to a real business challenge.
Ending with Slido Q&A reinforced the open, practical, and community-driven nature of CJEC Belgrade.

What We Took Away From CJEC Belgrade
When we look back at CJEC Belgrade, a few themes stand out clearly.
1. Sellers Want Practical Insight
People are no longer satisfied with broad motivation or generic advice. They want ideas they can actually use.
2. Networking Still Matters
In a digital industry, face-to-face communication remains extremely powerful. One good conversation can unlock the next opportunity.
3. Omnichannel Thinking Is Growing
Visibility across multiple channels is becoming more important for brands and sellers.
4. Scale Requires Structure
Fast growth is exciting, but sustainable growth requires systems, alignment, and clear decision-making.
5. Cross-Border E-Commerce Remains a Huge Opportunity
Many attendees are thinking internationally, and events like CJEC help them understand that opportunity more clearly.
